I don’t care if you’re a painter, writer or dancer. The worst part about being an artist having a lack of inspiration.
This lack of inspiration is often referred to as a “block”. Glovers have it easy compared to other artists because we can create our own inspiration and avoid this block all together. It just takes a little bit of hard work. There are a few very good roads to take when navigating around glover’s block, and I’ll be taking you down one of them today.
There is always a lot of talk among glovers about what a real light show is. In my opinion, there is no wrong way to throw a light show, and I credit [PM] Pro Heavy for pointing it out a few years ago. Gloving is a type of personal expression, and there is no way to tell someone how they can and cannot express themselves.
The two most common types of light shows are competition and festival light shows. With the passing of IGC and another festival season, let’s take a look at the difference between the two. Shall we? Continue Reading
I am back again to break down our latest Synergy Challenge with [PLL] Vex and [IM] Puppet. These are two of the most passionate glovers I have ever seen, both dedicating themselves fully to gloving in one way or another. Continue Reading
IGC is THIS WEEKEND! Are you excited? You know I am since I’ve been mentioning it in every piece you’ve seen from me recently….
But now, IGC is here. It’s the event we have all been waiting for, the big one, the SuperBowl, the World Series, GloverMania if you will. This is the time when the best glovers in the world step up for their chance to show the world what they can do and have a great time in the process.
Welcome back to my neck of the woods, where we talk a little about the glovers who grace our weekly Sunday Feature Videos. This week there is an absolutely palpable IGC fever in the air, and what a better way to kick off IGC Week than with a group performance by Style Over Everything.
This week we have a rather unique video making its way to your screens, a collaboration between 5 of the best and most well known girl glovers in the game! These girls are some of the heaviest hitters in the scene. Let’s watch this insanely firey video, “From The Shadows,” then get to know them all a little better.
It’s time to get dark and sunny at the same time. This week’s breakdown features the 305 Queen of Steez, [NL] Swirlz. For those of you that have not yet seen this girl glove, she exudes confidence with every motion and her fluid whip-n-tunnel style compliments that attitude to a tee.
This show is a change of pace compared to the recent feature videos we have been putting out. This show is all heart and soul and you can really tell that she is really just letting it out. I could not think of a more tangible representation for what gloving has done for all of us. I’m sure you will relate once you hit play.
It is me, your friendly neighborhood Ice Kream Teddy. Today, I am going to give you a quick review of the most powerful EmazingLights glove set to date, the eLite Element.
The Element uses an accelerometer to detect the change of speed in a glover’s light show. Once it passes a certain speed threshold, both the color set and flash pattern change. Or, in simpler terms, if you go fast enough, the light changes modes for you.
Hello Gloving Universe! I am back again with the next episode of our Video Breakdown Series. Today, let’s talk about the man with all the time in the world, [IM] Mez.
For those of you who have not heard of him, Mez has made quite the impact on the gloving community, especially with #Alohanation. The waves he has caused are all due to the concept he dropped like a cannonball on us a few months ago: clocking.
We interrupt our regularly scheduled feature breakdown to bring you a special recap of an amazing week we had with all of our sponsors earlier this month in the days leading up to HARD SUMMER 2015. The spark that ignited this gathering of fire started when [IM] Puppet earned a free trip to HARD, courtesy of Emazinglights, for his success in the Sponsorship Program.
We had so many glovers from so many states all in one place! [GG] Swirlz and [MOB] Vex from Florida, [UV] Flow and [UV] Blastoff Sloth from Seattle, [3M] Jest from Minnesota, [IM] Mez from Hawaii, [PM] Cypher and Tranquil from Socal, the list goes on. It is so insane to think that most of us do not even know each other save for online interaction and a common goal to create a better gloving community, yet when we are all together it feels like a family reunion.
